Being an elderly patient (85 years next month), I am thankful for Dr. Roy's patience and understanding of the pain in my right shoulder due to a torn muscle. The physical therapy exercises have helped tremendously. However, having a cortisone injection eases the pain and I am able to use my right arm/shoulder to the best advantage.

Since the beginning of my pain, I have had issues with this office I can't schedule because they don't answer phones, When I get seen its a 5-minute visit. on June 18 I was supposed to be able to go get a nerve test well it took 3 weeks no phone calls from them many from me but still not contact even though my insurance company and my fiancée who works at another Doctors office called them. finally, at the end of week 3 I walked into the office and had a seat waiting on someone to talk to when I finally did talk to someone, they kept asking what it was regarding. I let them know It was about a 3-week late authorization I couldn't get because no one would answer their phones. I was told to have a seat and the manager would meet me in a couple minutes. While waiting some lady working there came up and asked if I was a PPO or HMO when I told her a PPO, she said she could give me the paperwork I told her she was 3 weeks too late. Manager came out explained to me that I "Fell between the cracks" and that it was "Honest Mistake" even with all the phone calls to them. He told me he would schedule my nerve test and get back to me with the info either phone call or text while giving me a card with his personal number.
No contact was ever received from office only from Nerve test facility. I went and got the nerve test done on 7/15/21 and was told the doctor's office would get back to me once results were received. Again, more phone calls more that they never took and lots more excuses once I text office manager, I was told I would have an appt over the phone on 7/26/21 at 10:00AM.
Appointment comes through Dr. Surdyka explains the issue and wants me to wait 6 months to see if the pain subsides as he sees no need for surgery the problem is, I am in pain every day and no one cares about it by the end of the appointment over the phone I got him to come back in a month to see if I needed the surgery instead of 6 months and that the office would get back to me as soon as possible to schedule another appointment. Surprise! It never happened never got a call to schedule Heck still have received a call from that office that was from the doctor.
2 weeks later I am in absolute pain still no call from office for appointment, so I text office manager again explain the situation and all they had were Friday at 8/20 in the morning only Monday 8/23 all day and Wednesday morning only. I scheduled for Friday 8/ originally at 9 am. A few days before the appointment I was told I had a meeting at work and asked if they could bump me up to 10 am they agreed signed sealed done. On Friday 8/20 I scheduled everything to be done so I would have a window between 10am and 11:45 but no call was done so I went to lunch, At noon I went back to my desk texted office manager I was done with them my meeting has been missed and the excuse that he was running late showed up and that he would call if it was ok. I said NOPE done no more, 2 minutes later Dr. Surdyka called I explained the situation of what happened and why I was not happy and that I was done give me my records and do not bill my insurance anymore. He told me he just learned of my Teladoc appointment 5 minutes before hand and he's sorry his office is so unorganized.
